Iris Perouliou Sergaki - Architect

Iris Perouliou Sergaki


Iris graduated in Architecture (DUTh), and completed a post-graduate program in Urban-Regional Planning (NTUA). She participated in research projects, such as: Cultural recording of the Greek element in Turkey and Bulgaria and exploration of ways of cross-border cultural cooperation, DUTh. Participatory planning interventions in the Roma settlement, Drosero, DUTh, and recording the problems and solutions for social housing Nea Philadelphia, Attica, NTUA. She has collaborated with architectural offices in Greece and Barcelona and with Directorate of Byzantine Antiquities of Lasithi Region in monument restoration projects. She is a collaborator and special advisor to Municipality of Agios Nikolaos in strategic urban planning.


Gold is to build a collective memory through accurate observations of our cities, using knowledge and ability to bring a vision to reality. Only with eyes open and curiosity we can get at the heart of each problem by recognizing where opportunities lie. To transform these into a lasting and meaningful environment and finding the right balance between future urban pressure, landscape identity and quality of life.
